Three Months Young

Kai is our little buddy, happy and sweet as can be. He always seems to be attached to me in my ergo carrier or on my hip, and he puts up with going back and forth between Cora's activities quite well.

He's getting stronger everyday and I think he will be rolling very soon. He's rolled a few times from his stomach to his back, but it's not very often yet. He's also working on laughing (he sounds like a little machine gun), and usually laughs when Cora does something funny (which unfortunately just encourages her to be crazier and then she usually gets in trouble or gets hurt, but until that point it's pretty cute).

Kai seems to have had a lot of visitors lately! He's a popular little guy! The Beahms were just here for a very nice visit and Buddy and Pooh Bah were here off and on last month which was also great. We see my parents quite often too, and Nana is wonderful about coming down and helping with the Campbell circus about once a week! We are so thankful for all the love.

Kai Videos

11 weeks!

Our zombie delirium days are somehow flying by and Kai is already 11 weeks old! Kai is smiling away (most of the time) and is a little snuggle bug. He is sleeping at night pretty well, waking up about every 4 or 5 hours to eat. Not bad, and I know it will just keep getting better. In the day he mostly just hangs out in my front carrier while we run errands, clean the house, play with Cora, cook, go on walks, etc. He's also getting very good in his jungle - he is a strong little guy and is already holding his head and body up very well! He also is constantly grabbing onto everything, including Cora's hair (which she probably deserves).

At his two month doctor appointment he handled his first round of shots like a champ and was just under 10 pounds and was 23 inches long. He's thinned out a bit, but is still pretty long for his age.  The doctor was impressed with how strong he is and thinks he will probably start rolling around pretty soon!

I love seeing how he grows and changes almost daily. He is such a happy little fella (besides when he is super gassy- which is often!) and, like I've said before, we are so, so in love with him!

Here is a photo dump since I've been a bit behind on his blog!

Trying to keep Cora from crushing Kai is a full time job!

Kai's first run with mom!

He strongly disliked his first Halloween costume.

This is how I attempt to take a shower ...

Kai loves all the colors in Cora's new tent.

He's a great little hiker!

He loves his little Leo the Lion!
